The Potomac Sustainable Communities Initiative

FINAL ANNOUNCEMENT: Please support The Orion Project with donations, as
this R&D group is most likely to bring advanced energy technologies to the
public in a timely manner and can reach an audience of millions within 24 hours
of public demonstrations. Go to www.theorionproject.org to review
progress on their R&D initiatives and to submit donations to ensure timely
completion and demonstration of advanced energy technology R&D projects
spearheaded by their group of volunteers/researchers. Prayers are also appreciated and essential
for success.

The 14th International Conference on
Condensed Matter Nuclear Science
Hyatt Regency on Capitol Hill
Washington D.C.
August 10-15, 2008
The 14th International Conference on Condensed
Matter Nuclear Science (ICCF-14) will be held from the 10th through the
15th of August 2008 at the Hyatt Regency
Hotel on Capitol Hill in Washington DC. The purpose of this scientific
conference is to present and discuss new results on low energy nuclear
reactions (LENR), which originally went by the name "cold fusion."
The production of unexpectedly large amounts of excess heat in metals heavily
loaded with hydrogen is also called the Fleischmann-Pons
Effect.
LENR have been studied by hundreds of
scientists globally since the field began in 1989. At this time, the experimental evidence for
the existence of LENR is overwhelmingly conclusive. Further, many of the characteristics of LENR
are already known. Measurement
techniques and results obtained with them have been published in over 1,000 scientific
papers. The mechanisms for such
reactions are not yet understood theoretically.
Nevertheless, the empirical information shows that LENR produce energy
with harmless helium as the primary by-product. In most experiments, there is
neither significant immediate radiation nor residual radioactivity. Several start-up companies and other
organizations are working on the science of LENR. The emerging results might provide the basis
for green energy sources with many applications, such as desalination.
The series of ICCF conferences, which began
in 1990, has been held alternatively in North America, Europe and Asia. It is the primary venue for the international
community of involved and interested scientists to give and critique papers
that describe what was done and found. The papers are then published in the
proceedings of the conference.
The conference website will be hosted by
the International Society for Condensed Matter
Nuclear Science.
David J. Nagel, Research
Professor at The George Washington University, Chairman.

Nuclear Reactions can be found at:

In 1989, two chemists announced that they
could produce nuclear reactions and thermal energy under ordinary conditions of
temperature and pressure using electrochemistry. They were Martin Fleischmann and Stanley
Pons. The reactions were termed cold
fusion, even though no one really knew then with confidence that nuclear
reactions were occurring. Their novel
experimental results were at odds with hot fusion data and were not supported
by theory. Many scientists concluded
that there were no nuclear reactions and the reported experiments were in
error. In fact, cold fusion became a
widely-known and still-cited example of science gone wrong.
Condensed Matter Nuclear Science, originally
known as cold fusion, has been studied by hundreds of scientists globally since
the field began in 1989. At this time,
the experimental evidence for the ability to induce nuclear reactions at low
energies and temperatures is very strong. Further, many of the characteristics
of the reactions and their products are already known. Measurement techniques and results obtained
with them have been published in over 1000 scientific papers, many of them in
refereed journals. The mechanisms for
the nuclear reactions are not yet understood.
Nevertheless, the empirical information shows that they produce energy
with harmless helium as the primary by-product.
In most experiments, there is neither significant immediate radiation
nor residual radioactivity. Several start-up companies in the US, and many
other academic, government and industrial organizations world-wide, are working
on the science of nuclear reactions, in which a solid lattice plays a central
role. The emerging results might provide
the basis for green energy sources with many applications, such as the
production of clean drinking water.

2008
ALTERNATIVE ENERGY PARTNERSHIP CONFERENCE
JUNE 28-29,
2008
CHARLOTTE
HALL, MARYLAND

The 2008 Alternative Energy/Healing
Partnership Conference (AEPC
2008) was held on June 28-29 at Jarboe's Mill, 29880 Three Notch Road,
Charlotte Hall, MD. This
weekend event was held outdoors with live demonstrations and seminars on
site. AEPC 2008 was a follow-up to the 2007 Advanced Energy Technology
Colloquium (click the
link for archived video footage of last years event
presentations). This event was
documented for an upcoming movie, "Fueled", a movie that will preview
at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival.
Video clips of the some of the technologies presented at AEPC 2008 are
available HERE
and HERE. See also the links below to various
researchers. A followup event is
scheduled for October 2008 in Florida - Email Larry Jarboe at
dcjarboe@hotmail.com for specific dates/location.
AEPC 2008 was an excellent venue for independent
researchers/inventors to demonstrate their alternative energy and/or healing
technologies in a safe environment, and was free of charge to presenters and
the public. Larry
Jarboe sponsored the
event and currently serves as St. Marys County Commissioner. Mr. Jarboe
is a strong advocate for sustainable
communities, as evidenced by his
involvement with
hydrogen and electric vehicle research and sustainable communities.

from what you have made for
yourself as your destiny you must learn the two great lessons which all
experiences of life are to teach. These
lessons are:
What to do;
And,
What not to do.
You may put these lessons off for
as many lives as you please, or learn them as soon as you will that is for
you to decide; but in the course of time you will learn them.
